Russian Amazonite Gemstone Metaphysical Properties
Russian Amazonite gemstone is a semi-opaque, light blue to blue-green stone that was used extensively by the ancient Egyptians for jewelry making among other decoration. Often called 'The Stone of Courage', it is said that Amazonite was named after Amazonian women warriors because some archaeological evidence suggests that the Amazonians were a strong, matriarchal society that existed during the Bronze Age.
